Girl Scout Troop 1600 decorated the Christmas tree on the 2nd floor of the courthouse this year
The Benton County Courthouse is trying something new this Christmas season. The courthouse staff would like to invite any groups or organizations in the county to have a part in the Christmas festivities each year. The courthouse is inviting groups to decorate the Christmas trees with their own ideas, or original themes or something to represent their group.
If you are interested in a chance to decorate the tree on the second floor of the courthouse next year, please contact Lexa Spiedel at the Recorder's office.
On the first floor the red, white and blue Christmas tree will be set up and ready to wow you after the parade tonight. Be sure to stop in and see it along with Santa!
The Vinton Girl Scout Troop 1600 decorated our tree with their very own handmade decorations this year and can be seen on the second floor of the courthouse.
