Angel Tree has been a staple in Vinton for several years. Lanette Parker heads up the efforts of organizing and helping to obtain gifts for children in the area.
Every year it's a challenge to find space that can be used for several weeks for storage as well as a location for gift distribution.
Both US Bank and Farmers Savings Bank & Trust have a lot of tags left for distribution. Parker is in need of everyone's help in purchasing outfits for area children. All WRAPPED gifts need to be back at the bank by next Monday (16th).
