Brennen Still celebrated his 13th birthday on Monday with a parade in his honor filled with people from across the area. The Vinton Police Department lead the procession past the Still home. Several friends, family, teachers, elected officials all wishing Brennen a happy birthday were present. Also arriving to entertain was Tom Pingenot who created a bit of fun with the gigantic bubbles that he created while the parade passed by.
Last December Brennen had a migraine which started the first of his doctor visits. After doctors continued to run tests, it was discovered that Brennen had Leptomeningeal Melanomatosis which is a rare cancer diagnosis with only a few other children being diagnosed with. At this time there has not been a discovered cure.

Happy Birthday, Brennen, we hope your day was extra special, we're all pulling for you!
