Oak Grove Church lends a hand across the county during Faith in Action project

For the 2nd year in a row, the Oak Grove Church put their faith to work. A group of more than 50 members of the church met this past week to minister to people in the community.

Faith in Action is a project that the church uses to help those in the community that might need a helping hand. The group took on 11 projects across the Benton County area. Residents in Shellsburg, Garrison and Vinton were assisted with home repairs, yard work as well as other projects that required a team of volunteers.

The group started work on Thursday morning and several crews worked through Saturday afteroon completing the projects.

Another example of what makes our corner of the world brighter! Hats off to Oak Grove Church!
