News : Are you ready to Party in the Park?

Vinton Parks and Recreation under the guidance of Matt Boggess is going to blow your socks off again this weekend for Vinton's abbreviated Party in the Park.

This Saturday, August 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m. there will be your classic rock, folk and blues music by, Empty Pockets. The fun will as always be at Riverside Park.

Simply bring along your own chair or blankets to sit on. There will be circles to sit in for social distancing purposes.

As usual, there will be vendors on site offering all kinds of delicious foods and beverages.

When the music ends, sit back and enjoy the fireworks. Bar Y Pyros will be again entertaining us with a spectacular display.

Grab the kids, your blanket and your spare change, and let's have a fun evening in the park!
