The school board took action to have students start face to face, in-person on Monday, August 31st. The board has scheduled a review meeting for Thursday, September 10th, to review the start of school and make any adjustments.

Last night, the VSCSD school board voted to require face coverings for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
"Wearing face coverings by students and staff is required in hallways, indoor common spaces, on busses, and when physical distancing is not possible. Students may remove face coverings during instruction if they are distanced 6 feet apart or per teacher instruction. Face covering breaks shall be provided throughout the day."
VSCSD will be providing a two-layer cloth face mask to students at the beginning of the school year. Surgical face masks and or face shields will be provided through the school and allowed as options for face coverings. Students and staff may also bring their own face covering.
