News : V-S Red Cedar Shooters begin fund-raising efforts

The Vinton-Shellsburg Red Cedar Shooters is now a recognized lettering sport within the Vinton-Shellsburg CSD, but as budget constraints are tight, we receive no funding from the school district. What does that mean? Well, with 25 members shoot 35,000 shot gun shells we are looking at ammunition costs alone of about $5000. This does not include shooter entry fee's and transportation costs that are at the cost of the shooters and/or parents and volunteer coaches.

There are 3 levels of donation:

1) Professional Sponsor $100 and up

2) Amateur Sponsor $75-$99

3) Rookie Sponsor $1-$74

Sponsors will have their name and/or business printed on the back of t-shirts and a sign that is displayed at all Trap Team Events.
