News : Division 1 ratings for many VSHS speech students

These VSHS speech students earned Division 1 ratings at the State Large Group event.

Congratulations to the speech participants who performed at the State Large Group Contest on Saturday. Six groups earned I’s. The groups receiving I’s were One Act Play, Legally Blonde Musical Theatre, all three Group Improvs and Alex Springer’s Solo Mime. Great Work people!!

And a special congratulation to the following Groups Musical Theatre (Emma, Emma, Tess, Nikki, Liz, & Maddy) and Alex Springer for being names All-State. Both groups are performing. This is the 1st time in school history that two groups from Vinton-Shellsburg will be performing at the All-State Festival. Congratulations!
