Fundraising efforts at John's Quick Stop raised funds for local organizations
Saturday volunteers from the local Kiwanis Club and the Post Prom Committee conducted a fundraising event at John's Quick Stop's new car wash.
Several vehicles showed up to the car wash and were given coupons for both free pizzas (a $50 value) from Godfather's Pizza as well as a $15 gift card for the car wash, which has the ability to be reloaded at discount prices.
The fundraising effort brought in around $1500 from the community.
