Ricochet, the C.R. Roughriders mascot, hopes to see many people from Vinton March 12.

The annual ‘Vinton Community Night’ at the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey game is now less than a month away and tickets for the event are now on sale at two convenient Vinton locations. Come out with friends and family on Saturday, March 12, to enjoy a fast-paced, hard-hitting hockey game as the RoughRiders take on the Tri City Storm at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The teams are slated to hit the ice with an approximate start time of 7 PM.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at Ron-Da-Voo or the Vinton Recreation Center for a reduced rate of $9, which represents a savings of $3 per ticket. Tickets will be sold at both locations until Tuesday, March 8, so hurry out to make sure you get the best seats!

Six RoughRiders came to Vinton Tuesday evening, where they met with 30-40 Vinton children, sharing information about hockey.
