It's the little things that put a smile on your face. Around the 4th of July, it's when the following businesses pitch in and place flags around town lining streets with the flags. This year there were 750 flags distributed.If you find a small American flag in your yard over this 4th of July weekend, it has been planted by the following businesses:

Coldwell Banker Hedges Realty

Bobbins & Boards

Rooster Auto, Rooster & Lil Chick Detailing

Opal and Hazel's Wood Fired Pizza

It is a gift to you and you are welcome to keep the flag following the 4th of July holiday!

MK July 10, 2021, 7:52 pm We don't live in Vinton but out NE of town and was in town over the 4th, seeing all the flags in the yards. It looked very nice and what a great community effort. Good job to all the businesses that contributed. Will be supporting them more!
