One of the pickup trucks that collided on Highway 218 south of Vinton this morning

A two-vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 218 south of Vinton at the intersection of 63rd St. and 24th Ave.

Two pickups collided and landed in the southeast corner ditch of the intersection.

There is no further information about the occupants of the vehicles at this time.

Vinton Fire Department responded to the call along with the Benton County Sheriff's Department and the North Benton County Ambulance.
