The Easter Bunny looked all around Vinton to find some of the best people in town to help prepare for the annual Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt. When asked, the Easter Bunny said that the search was narrowed down to those with the most experience at filling Easter eggs. Knocking on the door of Windsor Manor, the lovely people welcomed the challenge.

Volunteers filled about 3,500 Easter Eggs with over 7,000 pieces of candy for the local Kiwanis club.

Vinton Today has received word that the Easter Bunny will arrive at the Kiwanis Park on W 13th St & Hwy 218, in Vinton. The plan is that on Saturday, April 16, 2022, promptly at 10:00 a.m. there will be an Easter Egg Hunt with the help of the Kiwanis. (if there is bad weather it will be moved to the Vinton Skate Center) There will be 4 separate Easter Egg Hunt areas based on ages:
3 and Under
4 & 5-year-olds
6 & 7-year-olds
8 and older

This will be a fun and family-friendly event! Dads and moms, let the kids know that the Easter Bunny plans to hop in for a special appearance. There will also be an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Another fun thing will be happening (if it's not too windy) be sure to look for Tom Pingenot who will be creating HUGE bubbles to enjoy!
