2022 V-S PROM DANCE ITINERARY

When: Saturday, April 30, 2022

Time: 8:00pm - 11:30pm (doors open 7:45pm)

Where: Vinton Skate & Activity Center

Who: V -S Seniors & Juniors & Invited Guests

Tickets:

â—� $20 - VS JUNIORS

â—� $20 - GUESTS of a VS Senior or Junior (including VS Sophomores or Freshmen)

Prom Public Viewing

â—� Saturday, April 30th 4:00pm-6:00pm

Valet Parking at Skate Center

â—� Post Prom has this set up

â—� Students need to follow the signs for pulling into the Skate Center

â—� Pull up to the doors UNDER the Awning and put car in PARK

â—� Driver and guest(s) get out at the door and enter Prom venue

â—� Valet attendants will park car and bring keys to the Skate Center

Entertainment/DJ: 7:45pm-11:30pm

â—� Center Stage Productions - Cedar Rapids IA

â—‹ Max Johnson - DJ

â—‹ Will be able to submit song request list 2 weeks before Prom date (watch Campus email)

â—‹ Interactive app & URL for requesting songs (there will be a list of songs not allowed by VS Administration)

Senior & Junior Group Pictures:

**NOTE: If you want to be included in these group pictures arrive to the picture area 5 minutes ahead of time.

Schedule as follows:

â—� 9:15pm - Junior Girls

â—� 9:30pm - Junior Boys

Queen/King & Prom Court Introductions/Crowning:

â—� 10:30pm - Prom Court report to Afton Marie Photography area for Group Picture

â—� 10:45pm - Start Prom Court Introductions

â—� 11:00pm - Crowning of Prom Queen/King

â—� 11:10pm - Queen/King report to Afton Marie area for Picture

PROM RULES/REQUIREMENTS:


â—� Who can Attend 2021 VS Prom

â—‹ V-S Seniors & Juniors

â—‹ Guests of VS Senior or Junior (Pre-approval required if Out of School District)

â–  Guests must be 9th-12th grade. No 8th graders allowed.

â–  Graduated guests may attend but cannot be older than age 20 as of May 1, 2020. (Pre-approval required)

â–  Out of town guests must fill out pre-approval form at the high school

â—� Face masks/coverings

â—‹ Are not required for 2022

â—� Basic Expected Behavior

â—‹ Rude or disruptive behavior will not be acceptable. Attendees may be subject to removal from the dance event at the discretion of Administration personnel on site

â—� Tickets

â—‹ Advance ticket purchase is required at the High School (see pricing above)

â—‹ If financial difficulties paying for admission, see Mr. Kingsbury or email Teresa Strong (email listed on letter)

â—‹ Attendees must have tickets in hand to be admitted. NO EXCEPTIONS

â—‹ Attendees must be listed on the student or guest list to be admitted. NO EXCEPTIONS

â—‹ Once arriving at the Prom Dance if you leave there is no readmittance.

â—‹ Appropriate poses and pictures only

â–  At the discretion of Adult volunteers running booth
