Center Point-Urbana Kindergarteners learn about washing clothes on a washboard
The Kindergarteners from Center Point-Urbana elementary school took a field trip to the Center Point Historical Society on May 16. The children were given an opportunity to experience life in the 1850s at the Strait Log Cabin.
The children "washed clothes" in a wash tub using a washboard and learned how to hang them on a clothesline with clothes pins during a field trip to the cabin with the help of the Center Point Historical Society President Andersen.
