Vinton Lions Club Tenderloin Tuesday Summer Season Begins this week June 7th from 5-7 PM!

Summer is here and Lions Club members look forward to seeing you throughout the summer. We will be participating in:

- Tenderloin Tuesdays, beginning June 7 thru August. Every Tuesday from 5-7 PM the Lions will be located across from Kirkwood on A Avenue and catty-corner to Celebration Park.

- Bright Lights on 4th - June 11th - Downtown Street Concert Event - Event tickets available at www.Bentoncountycountryfest.com

- Party in the Park - June 16-18th - Check VPRD Party in the Park Schedule: www.VPRDZone.com

- Farmer Market - Dates: June 23, July 7 & 28, August 11

- Boom Fest - August 27th

- VSHS Football Games in the Fall

Vinton Lions Club fundraising events directly support our community. Over the last 3 years, the Vinton Lions Club has raised over $27,000 supporting: Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, Charter of Boy Scouts, VSHS Scholarships, the local Food Pantry, Relay for Life, School Backpack Program, Stead Family Children's Hospital, Lions Field Softball Complex, and the VS Boosters Club.

Lions Club members also provide Kidsight eye screening at our local schools and daycare centers, access to glasses and hearing aids, and the Leader Dog program.

We are looking for a great summer season and are grateful for our community.
