News : Leaf pickup is underway (Place leaves 1 ft. from your curb)

Curbside pickup is for leaves ONLY is now underway.

NO sticks, grass, dead plants, plant clippings/debris, etc. To make things cleaner and easier, please place the leaves about one foot out from the curb.

Curbside pickup will continue as long as leaves are plentiful.

The Brush & Compost Yard north of town will continue to be open full hours through the month of November. https://cityofvinton.org/brush-dump/

Finally, a reminder that burning of landscape waste will be permitted on the last Thursday, Friday and Saturday in October (excluding October 31) and on the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday in November. This will be permitted only during the hours of 7:00am and 9:00pm.
