Avery and Henry Halstead stop to chat with Santa

During Friday's Holiday Open House, Santa made his way to see the children at Farmers Savings Bank & Trust. Avery and Henry Halstead stopped to visit with Santa and tell him their requests for Christmas this year.

Area residents were able to stop in and have a $3.00 donation made to the church of their choice and enter for a chance to win Vinton bucks.

Also available in the lobby of this and the other area banks are cards for Angel Tree. Each card on the Christmas tree includes the clothing size of a local child. Included on the cards are the shirt and pant size of the children. The gifts and tags need to be purchased and returned under the tree by December 13 so that Santa can deliver the gifts in time for Christmas!
