Thursday's testimony began with the state's expert witness to explain the use of cellphone data in placing Tacoa Talley and Samantha Bevans' locations during the days prior to and the day of Jodie Bevans' murder.

Data collected by the witness verified testimony given by the witnesses on Wednesday placing both Talley and Bevans together in Cedar Rapids, Shellburg and at the campground where the Bevans family had gone for a camping trip the day before the murder. Data shows that the phones moved through and past the Bevans' campsite.

Included in data obtained by search warrants was the Snapchat video taken by Samantha of herself and Talley on July 16 at 9:14 a.m. where she announces that Jodie had been killed.

The court adjourned for the day around 2:30 p.m. They are preparing jury instructions and closing arguments for tomorrow.
