News : Hills Bank and Trust Company presents check to Vinton-Shellsburg Schools

Kelly Couchman Hills Bank and Trust Company and Mary Jo Hainstock, Superintendent

Kelly Couchman from Hills Bank and Trust Company recently presented a check to Mary Jo Hainstock, Superintendent, on behalf of the Vinton-Shellsburg Schools.

Through a program called Classroom Cash, customers of Hills Bank who use a debit card are able to designate an area school to receive a donation. There is no cost to the customers and it is a way to support local community schools.

Since the program began, almost $500 has been donated to the Vinton-Shellsburg Schools with over $427,000 overall to schools.
