The Vinton Fire Department quickly responded to a riding lawn mower fire on Tuesday afternoon
Well, I don't think the heat had anything to do with it but I'm not not saying that either!
With temperatures hovering around 97° the Vinton Fire Department responded to a mower catching on fire on Tuesday afternoon. The fire was on West 13th St. next to Pioneer and west of Kwik Star.
It took only minutes to put the fire out, fortunately.
There were no injuries.
