News : VSEA honors retirees, others at annual reception

The Vinton-Shellsburg Education Association honored its five 2010-2011 retireee, and presented other awards during its annual reception this week.

The five retirees include Sue Mangold, Sandra Huemann-Kelly, Larry Stroschein, Pat Cayton and Esther Strong.

The VSEA also presented several awards, including:

Friend of Education: Maribelle Hesson

Friend of Education: Dana Lane

VSEA Member of the Year: Brndan Knudtson

Teacher of the Year: Sandra Huemann-Kelly

LC May 20, 2011, 11:46 pm You forgot about Teresa Spencer, she has been a bus driver for 14 years. I think just because she wasn\'t able to be in the picture (because she was still running her route) that you should make sure that you get a picture of her and INCLUDE her in this. She deserves to be recognized too!
