News : The Vinton swimming pool slide slips away into the past

Vinton Park's and Rec is in the process of upgrading the pool For a long time the condition of the slide was such that it needed to be replaced. 

Last week in a lengthy process, the slide was taken down. The operation took longer than I had expected it to. With a lot of chainsawing, metal cutting and maneuvering with the crane, the slide was finally taken down over the course of the week.
