Noel Crawford was the youngest to visit Santa this week. Arriving at only 2 days old she had her picture taken with mom and dad along with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Santa and Mrs. Claus made their travel plans with Greg and Lylelene Svoboda to be at the Shellsburg Public Library on Friday.

The library was bursting at the seams with excitement as the children gathered to color and some pictures, and wait for Santa to appear. The children had an opportunity to sing some Christmas songs while they waited.
Santa read, "Twas the night before Christmas" to all the children and then listened to the wishes of the children. With the help of the library, each child was given a book as a gift from Santa, along with a bag of treats and then they shared some sugar cookies, which Santa said were his absolute favorite..
The next stop for Santa is the North Pole, "to load up the sleigh." Marge McDonald, library director explained to the kids upon Santa's departure.
