Vinton residents haven't lost their humor when it comes to this storm! For example, this post was made by Scott Eggnick: "Anyone need some snow? I have a whole truckload. There's more if you need it. Give your lawn that winter wonderland look. Plus, the kids love it! And, I'm willing to part with it for FREE. Because, you know, we're friends."

Meanwhile, this photo taken by Hunter Jones in Newhall is unbelievable. If you're asking why the plows might be taking a while...this is why.

A huge shout out to all of our men who have been out there trying to clear the roads in what is an impossible storm!

Everyone, stay home unless you absolutely need to go out, it's really not worth it...for the next week...at least!

Dawn Stephenson captured these photos following the blizzard this past week. What gorgeous pictures!

Is it a Halo:

A halo is a ring or light that forms around the sun or moon as the sun or moon light refracts off ice crystals present in a thin veil of cirrus clouds. The halo is usually seen as a bright, white ring although sometimes it can have color.

or is it

Sundogs:

Sun dogs are a solar phenomenon where pillars of light appear on either side of the sun.

Whatever the technical term, it's gorgeous!
