Congratulations to Benton County’s Livestock Skills Teams who represented our county well at the Iowa State 4-H Livestock Triathlon! Following are the result highlights:
Livestock Judging
Junior team – 4th team overall; Alex Zahradnik 2nd high individual
Mixed/Intermediate team -- 14th team overall; Kinze Manson 3rd overall in oral reasons
Senior team – 5th team overall and 4th in oral reasons; Jill Hanson 3rd overall in oral reasons; Olivia Hanson 6th overall in oral reasons and 4th high individual overall
Skillathon
Junior team – High team overall; Alex Zahradnik high individual
Quiz Bowl
Junior team – High team overall; William Geiger 2nd high individual; Alex Zahradnik high individual
Intermediate/Mixed team – 2nd high overall
Senior team – 2nd high team overall; Jillian Hanson high individual
Good luck to the Senior Quiz Bowl Team who has qualified to represent Iowa at the National Western Round-Up in Denver, Colorado in January 2025!
