On Wednesday by night, the Linn County Sheriff's Department responded to a call in the 3600 block of East Otter Road, north of Robins. As a result of the call, according to police reports, Luke Wade Truesdell, 34 of Marion was arrested and has been charged with one count of attempted murder and three counts of First Degree Murder.

Among the three victims was a Vinton woman who lost her life.

Amanda Sue Parker, 33 of Vinton was found along with Romondus Lamar Cooper, 44 of Cedar Rapids, and Keonna Victoria Ryan, 26 of Cedar Rapids. Brent Anthony Brown, 34 of Marion is in critical condition.

Police say that the three were all victims of blunt force trauma to the head by a metal pipe. Police say that a possible motive was the possibility of the crime being made into a movie.

The deceased individuals were transported to the State Medical Examiner's office in Ankeny. The investigation continues into the incident, and no additional arrests have been made.

Judge Nicholas Scott of the Sixth Judicial District Associate has ordered a $4 million cash-only bail for Truesdell and a public defender was appointed to represent him.
