On Saturday, June 25th, the Vinton Parks & Recreation Department held its yearly Party in the Park 5K Run and Walk. 

There were over 125 people who registered and were put into their rightful age group: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over.  There was also a 1K Fun Run held for 12 years and under.
