In the 2024 lineup for the Governor's Steer Show, two steers with connections to Benton County helped to bring the total donated to the Ronald McDonald House to to $568,000!

Izzie Birker, Garrison, raised $12,639.54 before the auction and brought in another $4,500 at the auction for a total of $17,139.54. Sponsors were Eastern Iowa Ronald McDonald House and Quad Cities McDonald's.

French Fry #17

Reagan Burmeister, Rowley, raised a total of $14,000 for the Ronald McDonald House as well. Her sponsors were Benton County Cattlemen and Local Supporters. Reagan showed her steer with Tim O'Connell, a 3x World Champion Bareback Rider.
