News : New LEC in full use; prisoners staying and working there now

Prison inmates are now staying, and working in the new Benton County Jail.

The new Benton County Law Enforcement Center is now in full use; the prisoners have been moved from the temporary jail at the former Lincoln Elementary building into the new prison. (The cells were actually located in what used to be the principal's office.) Some of the inmates have been assigned work detail; one of them was working on the lawn and sprinkler area Wednesday morning.
