On Thursday, September 5th, the VS FFA Officer Team visited the middle school and organized engaging activities for the members to introduce them to FFA and potential future activities in FFA.

The officers led four rotations throughout the night, like Bri Dulin and Andrew Pingenot who led a communications activity to emphasize the importance of strong communication skills.

Megan Schlitter and Sophia Newton led a workshop on career development events (CDEs) and leadership development events (LDEs). They also gave the students the chance to participate in contests such as the dairy foods contest and the ag impact contest.

Will McKenna and Alana Fleming taught sessions about teamwork while Izzie Birker and Zane Helter reviewed the FFA emblem and trivia.

The event was a great success, and all the members went home with candy and smiles!
