News : Clipper Corner Holds 6th Annual Gift of Hope Fundraiser

Since 2018, each October Clipper Corner pulls out all the stops to help the Gifts of Hope Foundation with their fundraising efforts. The shop is in its 39th year and is using the fundraiser to lend a hand to those who need a little extra help during a breast cancer diagnosis.

Each year Clipper Corner tries to beat the previous year's fundraising. Last year the shop raised $1875 and owner Mary Barkdoll hopes to top that amount this year. This year four different baskets are part of the fundraiser. There is one large basket, one Barbie basket, one men's basket, and one with a beautiful homemade afghan.

You can also stop in and add a Pop of Pink to your hair this year! Add a peek-a-boo pink streak for $15 for longer hair or a ribbon detail design if you have shorter hair for $10.

Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. The fundraiser will end on October 31.

Clipper Corner is located at 220 W. 4th St. in downtown Vinton. Stop down and help support the shop in their efforts to support the community!
