News : Benton County remains in a Burn Ban

Benton County remains in a burn ban because of the extreme dry conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued the following information concerning the weather.

"Very high fire danger is expected today for much of the area with gusty south winds and low humidity. The main concern remains with field fires and spread due to wind, and caution is still advised for anyone using outdoor equipment that could spark a grass or field fire."
