Library Announcements
A Call for Helping Hands: Are you in need of volunteer hours for the Silver Cord? Do you have free time on your hands? We can use your help! The Library is seeking adult volunteers aged 18 and up and young volunteens aged 13-17. You can set your own volunteer schedule, and we always have projects.
Library Staff are auditing patron records, which is a standard procedure to ensure our records are accurate. Please bring your ID into the Library at your next visit, so staff can confirm your account details. Even if you are a frequent visitor, we will still ask to see your ID, but we only need to see your ID once. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we clean our digital records.
The Library will be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24-25. We're holding regular hours the rest of the week.
For future announcements, please continue to check our socials. If you haven't followed us yet, the Library can be found on Facebook and Instagram @hawkinsmemoriallibrary. All events and activity reminders are posted on both social media sites. You will also find a complete list of events on our website: www.lpcpubliclibrary.org/events/all-events-calendar/. Please note, some events require registration, so ensure you check the website regularly!
As always, should you need more information, please visit our website: www.lpcpubliclibrary.org. You can call us at 319-342-3025 or email info@lpcpubliclibrary.org. We look forward to your visit!
