The Vinton-Shellsburg High School FFA chapter had a great time at their annual lock-in on Tuesday, November 26th. Forty-four members gathered at the high school for a night full of food, fun, and teamwork. The evening started with a Thanksgiving potluck, where everyone brought food to share. The meal created a warm, family-like atmosphere and gave members a chance to relax and enjoy each other's company. After dinner, the real fun began. Some members got creative with crafts like tie-dye and painting, making colorful projects to take home. Others chose to play board games or head to the gym, where they played different sports and group games. Whether they were shooting baskets or running around in friendly competitions, everyone stayed active and had a great time. But it wasn't all fun and games. Members also took time to work on FFA projects and plan upcoming events. This time together helped the group get organized, come up with new ideas, and prepare for upcoming contests. The lock-in was a big success, giving members a chance to bond and have fun while also getting important work done. The Vinton-Shellsburg FFA chapter looks forward to more events like this in the future!
