Young Drivers: Drive Safe and Drive Clean on Prom Night

Iowa Renewable Fuels Association's (IRFA) Drive Clean campaign wants to support young drivers on Prom night! The campaign, which educates young adults on making clean fuel choices, has gift packages available for donation to Iowa High School After-Prom events.

"We want to build confidence in young drivers on choosing what fuel to use at the pump, while also encouraging them to drive safe on Prom night," said IRFA Marketing Director Lisa Coffelt. "Choosing Unleaded 88 helps drivers save money, betters the environment and supports our local farmers. Being able to support high schools across Iowa in providing a safe, yet fun After-Prom event while empowering students to make a cleaner fuel choice is a win for everyone."

The Drive Clean gift package will include a $25 gas card along with a Drive Clean branded t-shirt, lanyard, stickers and air freshener. Contact IRFA's Marketing Director Lisa Coffelt at LCoffelt@IowaRFA.org for details.

IRFA's Drive Clean campaign encourages young adults ages 14 - 18 years old to choose Unleaded 88 at the pump. Unleaded 88, also known as E15, is a 15% ethanol fuel blend and can be used in vehicles 2001 and newer. For more information about the campaign, visit Drive Clean's social media channels on Instagram and TikTok @DriveCleanIowa as well as on Facebook.
