Aflac Incorporated, a leading provider of supplemental health insurance in the U.S.,1 is thrilled to recognize four-year Aflac agent Dennis Bramow as an esteemed recipient of the 2024 Agents of Care award. Each year, the Agents of Care program recognizes Aflac independent sales agents who go above and beyond in their professional roles and demonstrate exceptional dedication to their communities through acts of service and philanthropy. In 2024, five winners were recognized nationally.
On Friday, Jan. 10, Dennis Bramow was surprised on stage during their state kickoff meeting with a $10,000 big check. Dennis did not know that he was considered for this award, because the program is nomination based. He was nominated by his peers for exemplifying the company's core values by creating a positive impact in the lives of others.
In 2024, Dennis celebrated 35 years with his Vinton Volunteer Fire Department where he has demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication. He and his wife, Diana Bramow, are well known in the community for their mission to ensure that "nobody fights alone".
In addition to his role at the fire department, Dennis serves as the President of Pink Heals Eastern Iowa - a local organization based in Vinton, Iowa, that focuses on providing support and resources to individuals affected by cancer.
Dennis and the local Pink Heals chapter use a pink-painted fire truck to provide home visits to patients and other seriously ill people. The chapter also partners with local businesses to provide recipients with donated goods, gift cards and helpful services.
Dennis' efforts to raise funds for the Pink Heals Eastern Iowa organization through activities such as silent auctions, raffles and other benefit event activities, have been instrumental in supporting the community.
"I am humbled to receive this award from Aflac," said Aflac Benefits Advisor Dennis Bramow. "Pink Heals Eastern Iowa has always been a passion of mine, because they supported my wife when she was in treatment for breast cancer. To be recognized by Aflac for something I love doing is truly special."
Dennis' recognition for his service to both the Vinton Fire Department and Pink Health Eastern Iowa serves as testament to his exemplary leadership, compassion and dedication to making a positive impact in his community. His story is an inspiration to others and symbolizes Aflac's mission to be there for policyholders when they need it most and exemplifying the culture for caring that lies at the heart of the company.
