The Center Point-Urbana FFA Chapter proudly represented their school and community at the 97th Iowa FFA State Leadership Conference, bringing home multiple honors and awards.

Caleigh Lewis earned the title of State Runner-Up in Creed Speaking, demonstrating exceptional poise and delivery in one of the most competitive categories for first-year FFA members. Audrey Seiler also secured State Runner-Up in the Greenhand Test, an academic event that assesses knowledge of FFA history, structure, and leadership.

Hannah Walvatne received a Gold Rating for her outstanding solo work on the Chapter Display, creatively presenting the chapter's accomplishments and community involvement with our Primary Ag Event. Walvatne also competed as a member of the Ag Issues team, along with Bella Edler, Emersyn Matthiesen, Emmalee Kratz, and Jordynn Fink. The team earned a Silver Rating for their well-researched and thought-provoking presentation.

Addyson Sweeney contributed to the chapter's success with a Bronze Rating for her work on the Chapter Website, showcasing communication and outreach efforts.

Beyond competitive events, students also showcased their artistic talents. Braeden Senn performed as a member of the State FFA Band, while Brynne Hite, Jenna Small, Hannah Walvatne, and Kinze Manson were all selected to participate in the State FFA Choir.

"We are so proud of every student who competed, performed, or participated," said CPU FFA Advisor Cassie Hosek. "Each of them represented our chapter with pride, passion, and professionalism. Their success is a testament to the hard work they've put in all year."

CPU FFA continues to grow as a strong presence in the state, celebrating not only individual achievements but the power of teamwork and leadership through agricultural education.
