On Tuesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 12th, 2025, members of the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter led two exciting Creative Kids FFA Days, bringing agriculture education to local elementary students through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

The first day took place at Tilford Elementary, where FFA members set up a variety of interactive stations to teach students about topics like rabbits, farm equipment, and cuts of meat. The second day was held at Shellsburg Elementary, continuing the fun with similar stations and new groups of curious young learners.

FFA member and Agriculture Literacy Committee Chair Jenna Grovert planned each activity to be led by other FFA Members. They helped the students connect agriculture to their everyday lives, from identifying farm equipment to learning about livestock, the kids had a blast while learning something new.

These events provided FFA members with the opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and teaching skills, while inspiring the next generation to appreciate the world of agriculture. Great job to all who helped make these days a success!
