News : Healthy Kids Iowa Food Distribution

Virginia Gay Hospital (VGH) had a great day providing Healthy Kids Iowa food distribution at Vinton-Shellsburg School and Benton Community School. We appreciate the work of HACAP in making this opportunity available to Benton County families.

Our most recent distribution served approximately 520 children. We are deeply grateful for the more than 50 VGH staff members who volunteered their time, as well as the Van Horne Lions Club for their helping hands.

This effort would not have been possible without the cooperation of our school systems-Benton Community and Vinton-Shellsburg. We are simply grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support its kids.
