Easton Lindeman was only 3 years old when he lost his fight against High-Risk Neuroblastoma. This is a form of cancer that attacks the adrenal glands, spinal column, and bone marrow. While his family continues to heal from this devastating loss, they have turned it into an opportunity to remember him on his birthday.

The family decided that in his honor, they wanted to bring a smile to other children who are now being treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, where Easton received his care. The family collected various toys and activities and delivered the gifts in memory of Easton's August birthday.

The gifts were not left at the front door, but were delivered to one specific floor of the hospital. Level 11. This floor is the same floor where Easton was treated and fought. The family wanted to use this opportunity to help boost the morale of other children and their families. Easton's family understands the battle and wanted to bring a smile to all of those children who are now being treated and are fighting to recover.

The family and friends of Corey and Samantha Lindeman were able to donate $4,432 worth of toys, art supplies and comfort items to the children and families at the hospital. Part of the donation this year also came from the Vinton Car Cruise.
