News : Vinton Pool open for final week of the season; Doggie Dip Aug. 21

The Vinton Community Swimming pool is now in its final week so be sure to stop by to take one last dip before the summer comes to an end. Regular pool hours will be kept through Wednesday, August 17th. On Thursday, August 18, the pool will be open from 2 PM - 7 PM. There will be not be a Noon or 5 PM lap swim but there will be lap swim from 6 AM - 7 AM that morning. On Thursday, August 19, the pool will again be open from 2 PM - 7 PM with no lap swim. The pool will then go back to regular hours on Saturday, August 20, with lap swims at Noon and 5 PM. On Sunday, August 21, the pool will be hosting its annual Doggie Dip from 1 PM - 4 PM. The cost is only $3 per dog and owners are admitted for free! However, owners must complete a registration form available at the pool front desk and show proof of their dog's vaccinations.
