News : GoFundMe page set up to cover Funeral expenses of Offerman Family

Following the accident on Friday involving a Vinton woman, 37-year-old Crystal Offerman, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover her funeral expenses.

Offerman's Jeep was rear-ended by a Vinton-Shellsburg school bus as she waited to make a turn, and was pushed into the path of oncoming traffic.

Offerman, a mother of five, died from her injuries.

She was very open about her faith and we discussed reading the Bible and the truth that it contains about salvation and eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ. When you’re with other believers, there’s a connection that’s undeniable and I felt that in the short time we visited. See you in Heaven sister!!!
