Recently, I've been discussing the need to clarify a few things about the website.

A couple things have happened this week that had me thinking maybe I need to say something now.

After existing for a mere 17 months, having 1.7+ Millions hits, topping 200,000 in one month, it's time to break this news to you.

Vinton Today is not, no more, not, not at all, not either, in no way, not even in the slightest little bit associated with any newspapers.

Vinton Today is a community minded news source. I'm are here to help you out any way I can.

I was naive enough to believe that if you do unto others, they will do unto you...and I've been wrong.

See, if you call us to have a newspaper stopped, (which I are not, no more, not, not at all, not either, in no way, not even in the slightest little bit associated) I don't think it's right for me to let you think I have anything to do with that.

What I WILL do however, is let you know that I have nothing to do with newspaper delivery, so that you can contact the right folks.

If you call to come and take a picture of your event, and you think we are putting it on the website as well as in a newspaper,

we will happily take your picture and have been known to get on our e-mail and zap it to the newspaper of your choice...
