VGH and Clinics Hosting Food Drive to Support Community During Gov. Shutdown

Virginia Gay Hospital and Clinics are stepping up to support our community members facing food insecurity during the ongoing government shutdown. Food collection containers are available in the hospital and clinic lobbies for those wishing to donate non-perishable items.

Grocery gift cards are also welcome and can be left with registration staff. Donors are encouraged to follow the suggested items list to ensure that all contributions meet the most pressing needs.

VGH continues to support families in need year-round through its Feed America program, which provides food boxes upon request.

“We appreciate the efforts and concern shown by our staff and community for our neighbors and friends during this difficult time,” said Tina Eden. “Together, we can make a difference.”
