News : Workshop to offer advice on repairing and restoring old homes

The Benton County Historical Preservation Commission is sponsoring a workshop on fixing older buildings (as well as financing those repairs) on Monday, Aug. 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the U.S. Bank Community Room in Vinton. Information about the National Register of Historic Places will also be available. The event, which is free and open to the public, may be of much interest to those whose older homes were damaged in the July 11 storm.
