On October 21, 2025, the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter continued a valued tradition of supporting the community by providing warm harvest meals to local farmers. As combines rolled through fields and the harvest season reached full swing, FFA members spent the afternoon preparing, packaging, and delivering meals to show appreciation for the hard work farmers dedicate to feeding our community. FFA members assembled around 200 meals, making sure each one was ready for farmers who were unable to leave the field. Students then delivered the meals directly to farms sharing smiles, quick conversations, and words of gratitude along the way. Many farmers expressed how meaningful it was to receive a fresh meal during one of the busiest times of the year.
