We were honored today to present the Bud Freeman Fellow Award to longtime Lion and all-around great guy, Tom Lane. There is no one who better represents the spirit of this award than Tom. Over the course of a few decades, he has served multiple clubs with lots of energy. He always has a smile on his face and seeks ways to help others. He ¢â‚¬â„¢s the first person to volunteer for any project. His sense of humor and outgoing personality make any event he ¢â‚¬â„¢s part of more enjoyable.
Tom has wrestled with some health challenges recently so he ¢â‚¬â„¢s not been able to be as active as he ¢â‚¬â„¢d like. But with his very active therapy schedule, we anticipate him being able to ¢â‚¬Ëœserve ¢â‚¬â„¢ again soon.
Congratulations on a very well-earned award Mr. Lane!
Presenting the award to Tom were Dawn Smith, Ronnie Kerkman, and Teresa and Randy Scheel.
