I'm going to do something I haven't done in decades: I'm going to take a week off.
Generally, the week between Christmas and New Year's is slow when it comes to news, however, I will keep an eye on things. Information that needs to be shared in a timely manner, will make the trip to your inbox. Things like meeting agendas, obituaries and any significant weather updates will go out. (Apparently, I don't know how to do a complete vacation!)
Enjoy some time with friends and family over these next few days. Bask in the Christmas tree lights, reflect on your blessings over the past year and if you're so inclined, make a list of your New Year's resolutions for 2026.
I'll see you back here on January 5th, with a regular list of stories. Where did 2025 go???
Merry Christmas from me to all of you wonderful readers. May you all have a fun-filled Christmas full of good memories of Christmases past, the joy of Christmas present, and don't worry about Christmas future!
