News : Van Horne Woman arrested in Iowa City

The Iowa City Police Department was dispatched to the Highlander Hotel on Highlander Place in Iowa City, just after 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 21.

The police report says that 32-year-old Allison See of Van Horne, entered a strangers hotel room, began stripping, and told the occupant, “Let’s do this.” Authorities reported that she eventually left the room but later returned and knocked on the door. When the man opened the door, she allegedly punched him in the face.

When See was arrested, she allegedly showed signs of intoxication. Witnesses at the hotel bar told officers they observed her consume multiple beverages before to the incident. See was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

It was reported that she allegedly assaulted police officers and hospital staff members who were attempting to restrain her.

See is charged with:

• First Degree Burglary
• Assault Causing Bodily Injury
• Public Intoxication
• Interference With Official Acts
• Two counts of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations
